Talk Show fue un proyecto fallido de tres de los miembros de Stone
Temple Pilots a excepción de Scott Weiland como vocalista, sustituido
aquí por Dave Coutts (Ex-Vocalista de Teen Inch Men). Solo grabaron un
único disco en 1997 y su periodo de actividad duro hasta principios de
1998, habiendo dejado atrás giras con Foo Fighters o Aerosmith. El
álbum fue grabado en verano del 96, año que habían lanzado al mercado
con Stone Temple Pilots "Tiny Music..." su disco mas Pop y mas errático,
sin poder realizar una gira y sin apenas promoción por los problemas de
Weiland con las drogas y la justicia que les hicieron suspender una gran
gira teloneando a Kiss en su regreso con la formación original y de
nuevo maquillados. Esto no les agradaría mucho a los hermanos DeLeo, y
se pusieron manos a la obra con este proyecto para poder girar y no
quedarse de brazos cruzados mientras Weiland pasaba por clínicas de
desintoxicación, jugzados , ingresos y salidas en la cárcel. El disco no
tuvo apenas repercusión alguna a nivel de ventas, pero si a nivel de
buenas criticas, y no es de extrañar ya que es un buen álbum
con buenos temas como la inicial "Ring Twice" o los singles con sus
posteriores videoclips de "Hello Hello" y "Everybody Loves My Car". La
voz de Coutts era similar a la de Weiland pero menos versátil. El
material que aquí encontramos es Rock Alternativo con dosis de Hard
Rock, se tratan de 12 canciones en un total en 42 minutos, donde
destacaría a parte de las mencionadas anteriormente, canciones como
"Wash Me Down" que podría ser fácilmente un tema de los Pilots en
cualquier de sus dos primeros discos, asi como también las estupendas
"Morning Girl" o "End Of The World" . Después de este proyecto
volvieron con Weiland grabando juntos como Stone Temple Pilots con
alguna que otra pausa que hizo que Weiland se juntara con Slash, Matt y
Duff ( Ex- Guns 'N' Roses) con el proyecto Velvet Revolver que poco
duro también, y varios discos en solitario sin mucho que
ofrecer, mientras sus compañeros de banda hacían lo propio con Richard
Patrick de Filter grabando un único disco bajo el nombre de Army Of
Anyone, después se juntaron otra vez los Pilots hasta día de hoy.

Show was a failed project of three members of Stone Temple Pilots Scott
Weiland except vocals, replaced here by Dave Coutts (Ex-Inch Men Teen
Vocalist). Recorded
only one album in 1997 and their period of activity lasted until early
1998, having left behind toured with Foo Fighters and Aerosmith. The album was recorded in summer of '96, the year they had released with Stone Temple Pilots "Tiny Music ..." Pop
your hard more and more erratic, unable to tour and with little
promotion by Weiland's problems with drugs and did them justice suspend a
major tour opening for Kiss on their return to the original and new
makeup. This
not like it much DeLeo brothers, and began to work on this project for
rotation and sit back while Weiland went through detoxification clinics,

disc was not hardly any impact in terms of sales, but if the level of
good reviews, and it is not surprising as it is a good album with good
songs as the initial "Ring Twice" and the subsequent singles with music
videos " Hello Hello "and" Everybody Loves My Car ". Coutts voice was similar to but less versatile Weiland. This
material is found with doses Alternative Rock Hard Rock, are about 12
songs in total in 42 minutes, which highlight a part of the above
mentioned songs like "Wash Me Down" which could easily be a topic of Pilots in any of their first two albums, as well as the great "Morning Girl" or "End Of The World". After
this project back recording together with Weiland as Stone Temple
Pilots with the occasional pause that made Weiland will meet with Slash,
Duff and Matt (Ex-Guns 'N' Roses) Velvet Revolver project with little
hard too, and several
solo albums without much to offer, while his bandmates did the same
with Richard Patrick of Filter recording one album under the name of
Army Of Anyone, then joined the Pilots again until today.
