HATER
"HATER"
1993
Today it is the turn to the blog to this project that Soundgarden released two components, we are talking of bassist Ben Shepherd (here deals with the guitar and singing) and drummer Matt Cameron, who here takes care of the battery and custom made in Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.Si we add a guitarist who had been in the dome of Monster Magnet as John McBain, and as icing on this project / group we met vocalist Brian Wood, who is the brother of Andrew Wood died (Malfunshun, Mother Love Bone) the result is very beneficial, curious and highly recomendable.El album opens with "Mona Bone Jakon" a fantastic version of Cat Stevens in Grunge-Psicodelia.hay key themes with strong riffs powerful and dirty with influences from the Kinks, MC5 or Stooges, as is the case in the songs "Who Do I Kill?, and" Tot Finder ".
We also find instrumental acoustic ballads and slightly experimental hypnotic as "Lion and Lamb." An occasional hang purely psychedelic rock as "Undershoe Down", a forceful Punk "Circles." But the two jewels are the Country-Punk version funny plan of Billy Edd Wheeler classic "Blistered" the other jewel is the nostalgic "Putrid" an issue with the shadow of Mother Love Bone hovering over our heads thanks memories and partly because his brother approached with a tone very similar to his brother Andrew.
