THE PONYS
"TURN THE LIGHTS OUT"
Matador Records
2007
indie rock, post punk revival,...
talk”, “exile on my street” y “poser psychotic”, sin olvidar “harakiri”,
demuestran que este disco no tiene
desperdicio.
Third album from the band from Chicago led by Jered Gummere. For many the most commercial of the band, but also full of good songs and good feelings.
Sound oscillating between garage rock, indie rock, post punk revival, ... Guitars electrifying voice accompanied amicrofonada of Gummere, with an air to Ian Curtis gives a special touch. Tracks like "1209 seminary", "small talk", "Exile on My Street" and "poser psychotic", not forgetting "harakiri", show that this disc is priceless.
