RADIOHEAD
"THE BENDS"
Capitol Records/Parlophone
1995
Mientras en cortes como "High And Dry" "Street Spirit Fade Out" "Bullet Proof...
I had not made a critique of a disc and now I have decided to comment on this great record of the longing 90.
This second album from Oxford is for me the best album of his career and the most significant.
It may not be the most creative album, but the textures on this album are basic to understand and assimilate "Ok Computer" and everything that has followed. While "Pablo Honey" his first album tube very successful thanks to the mega hit "Creep" the rest of the album too smelled Post-Grunge and had not entirely convincing. Focusing on the album "Planet Telex" is a great item to open the rocker álbum.con incendiary guitars Jonny Greenwood, Thom a great melody and a keyboard very hipnóticos.nada to do with "Pablo Honey" evolution is complete. and this is just the beginning. the title track to the album "The Bends" is another direct whiplash stomach taste like "Planet Telex". While cuts like "High And Dry" "Street Spirit Fade Out" "Bullet Proof ... I Wish I Wash" or "Fake Plastic Trees." Radiohead give us your face more leisurely and more atmospheric. Other topics such as "Bones" "Just" or "My Iron Lung" have a more classic rock influence of the Glam-Rock 70.heredero of David Bowie, the Post-Punk Pop Magazine or The Smiths.
In short, while everyone loves "Ok Computer". I adore this The Bends and I will always adore.
