ESPONJA
"CONCIERTO SALA APOLO2 (9/10/12)"
Mama Vynila
This past Tuesday, October 9 privileged few had the chance to enjoy a concert of the band-shoegazer indie-noise-band Sponge Barcelonina formed back in 2009 as a trio and as a duo now.
At 20.15 o'clock the duo Jenny to patches with contributions to the guitar in a topic and lead vocals along with his ally the great Ronnie on guitar, vocals and a wide range of loops and other effects came to kill with "Nothing accounts not" a big issue in the wave of permanent paralysis. excasa despite the crowd, for a benefit concert to raise money for the Red Cross, this was not a problem for the band Barcelonina, who based his set of about 45 minutes in his first issues plus some new cover and song . a special mention to my favorite "voom" one of the highlights of the performance (should be one of the best national issues this year) with those guitars made in Jesus And Mary Chain getting directly into the depths of your brain.
With "Portugal" draw their punk vein and pimp walk again, while with "Appetite" brokenhearted us with half time with angelic voices of Jenny with a great melody and lyrics that flow is leaving you to unimaginable havens .
To start closing did the cover of "Kool Thing" by Sonic Youth from their acclaimed "Goo", leaving us to do silly face just two people on stage with tables and doing an incredible perfect cover.
They parted with "Fucking Pony" its more shoegazer theme of her album, leaving a very good impression, although the sound of the entire recital was at half throttle and prevented us enjoy more of the concert in all its splendor.
