Now there are flood of large groups returning from decades past, I prepare to rescue the catacombs this great album late nineties as Blur's sixth album which I still find the best of his career, as it is the more experimental, especially wild and dense and deep, the big reason for this may be the break he suffered Damon with Justine (Elastica) what makes this album almost entirely inspired by her and in her own relationship with drugs and alcohol.
The album's first single is a fantastic piece with inspirations of Blues and American Folk, adding in the chorus some great gospel choirs.
He continues "Bugman" and we started to find in terrains of Noise and Indie Pavement-style with touches of dance music perfectly formed thanks to producer William Orbit.añadir that in this and many other songs Graham Coxon (as was their farewell album) is splendid with those guitars hurricane and storm tumbling and stunts to songs with riffs, solos and riffs.
"Coffee & TV" was the big hit of the album and is a great composition of Folk / Pop Graham.mientras in "Swamp Song" leaves them more Rockerista vein and Psycho Blues and desquiziada and properly influenced American bands like Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
Other major issues to note are: the Punk BLUREMI Tribute to Sex Pistols?? the melancholy "Caramel." the defeated ballad "No Distance Left To Run" that is second to none in its broad Blur carrera.pero mostly I stay with the Ambient-Rock Dance undergone the "Battle".
We have to be closing instrumental "Optigan 1" but especially before we have a gem as "Trimm Trabb" with big reverberations and Damon's voice and fantastic acoustic and electric guitars of Graham.sin certainly is for me what has been and will the best song of Blur.
