El segundo álbum de la banda de Detroit les catapulto hacia el estrellato y ha tener cerca repercusión y alejarse por momentos del mundo underground del cual provenían y con el paso de los años han vuelto a ello,a ser una banda de culto.
Pero he de decir que Ejercieron de teloneros en la famosa gira de KISS del reunión Tour en el 96 con los cuatro componentes originales y pintados de nuevo.Tambien consiguieron cierto éxito comercial en las listas de rock con la inclusión del tema "Have You Seen Mary"de este álbum en la película de Kevin Smith "Chasing Amy"
El disco tenia trallazos post-grunge de la talla del inicial "My purity" o el segundo corte del álbum "Got To Be A Bore" otros destacados eran "I am Anastasia" todos ellos con pequeños ramalazos Punk incluidos.
Luego había pequeñas joyas de baladas guardadas como: "The Drag Queens Of Memphis" o "Have You Seen Mary" donde suenan mas a banda clásica de los 60/70.
Hay temas atmosféricos como: "My Baby Said" con inclusión de Saxos y Trompetas incluidos que le dan un toque enriquecedor, y para terminar finalmente el álbum con la acústica "Velvetten".
Pero si hay un tema que destacaba por encima de otro ese era "WAX ECSTATIC" un tremendo trallazo e himno underground del grupo que además le daba titulo al álbum.

But I must say that acted as support act on the famous tour of the KISS Reunion Tour in 96 with the four original components and painted again. They also got some commercial success in the rock charts with the inclusion of "Have You Seen Mary" of this album in the Kevin Smith film "Chasing Amy"
The album had post-grunge lashes the size of the original "My purity" or the second single from the album "Got To Be A Bore" other prominent were "I am Anastasia" all with small lashes Punk included.
Then had saved little gems of ballads such as "The Drag Queens Of Memphis" or "Have You Seen Mary" where classic band sound more like 60/70.
There are atmospheric topics as: "My Baby Said" including saxophones and trumpets that included a touch rich, and finally ending with the acoustic album "Velvetten".
But if there is one theme that stood out over another that was "WAX ECSTATIC" whiplash and anthem tremendous underground group also gave the album title.
