CROCODILES
"ENDLESS FLOWERS"
French Kiss
2012

The Jesus and Mary Chain sigue siendo el precedente musical predominante.

"Crocodiles" have always seemed to have but to be put in as a group to pay tribute to the past than to develop something new for today. His previous efforts, 2009 and 2010, and were released by their influences Echo & The Bunnymen with melodies of Jesus and Mary Chain, Psychedelic decks floating layers, and a strong dose of My Bloody Valentine abundant. "Endless Flowers" does not have to go far from these influences, however, and do not sound like children of the past, the first single "Sunday" springs from a hymn tune that screams summer more than anything. This is driven inexorably forward, an amount almost unconscious of noise canceling vocals. It's funny how everything sounds after a burst of sound that appears violently. "If you were a margarita, thirsty for solution I would gladly thy dew," Brandon Welchez sings his wife Dee Dee Penny (similarly the characteristic sound of the group Dum Dum Girls) "No Black Clouds for Dee Dee" , a decent summary of "Crocodiles" in one direction to his own confidence. After two albums to experience their sound, playing and demonstrating knowledge influences storm fine guitars in "Endless Flowers" seem to have found the key to not aturdan and have full control of his faculties with much more confidence his compositions.
The album sounds like a pure distillation of noise-pop/shoegaze respectable nuanced without losing a note that accumulate and become long. The tunes here are powerful, and never overshadowed by the constant noise and build instruments, built in layers upon layers of reverb. The Jesus and Mary Chain remains the predominant musical precedent.Throughout the album, "Crocodiles, they note that attempt to change things, sad Nebula" Hung Up On A Flower "has strong melodies of the group in an effort to increase the tension and atmosphere of a song that ends a thick fog over a bad trip of any consistent and true feeling. For a band that seemed to have struggled with knowing what they were, however, these errors are almost necessary and beneficial. Like, "Bubblegum Trash" or " Welcome Trouble, "these are more grand, good subjects to finding your own way. Such ubiquitous sound wall, keyboards and drum washing with glorious rumblings of a guitar that sounds better all the time." Endless Flowers "is a disc for those looking to hear something happened to a young spirit.
